Meredith Long is the Senior Vice President and General Manager, News, Luxury & Style at Time Inc. She is responsible for developing the growth strategy for Time Inc. brands including Time, Fortune, Money, InStyle, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure and Departures. As the brand leader, she oversees the overall financial and strategic performance as well as budget reporting. She also oversees these brands’ major franchises and live events such as the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, and the Fortune Live Media Division, which includes Fortune Most Powerful Women, the Fortune Global Forum, Brainstorm Tech and many more.
Long was previously Group Publisher of Time, Fortune and Money and before that Publisher of Time from 2015 to 2016.
Long is a veteran of Time, starting as an Account Manager in 2003 and has held leadership positions in its Washington D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. She was Executive Director, West 2013 until 2015. She began her career as an Assistant Account Executive at Fallon in Minneapolis.
In 2016, Long was named to the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement, which annually recognizes outstanding leaders in advertising under 40. She now serves on the AAF’s Hall of Achievement Executive Committee. She is also on the board of Creative Visions and the American Ireland Fund.
Long has a degree in Journalism and Broadcast News from The University of Colorado Boulder.
