Melody Lee is Director, Brand Marketing at Cadillac. In this position, Lee is responsible for building Cadillac’s global brand identity and driving a clear and consistent strategy across all of its channels, products and markets. As part of her portfolio, she oversees strategic planning, brand management and the partnerships and experiences that drive Cadillac’s reputation and brand image.
Prior to joining Cadillac, Lee was executive vice president at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, one of the world's leading public relations agencies. At H+K, Lee provided strategic communications and public affairs counsel to corporate clients, and lead the office of the global chairman. Her specialties included transactions, crisis and litigation and public affairs support for clients.
Lee has a depth of experience in high-stakes crisis and transaction situations for high-profile clients, and her work at H+K Strategies included strategic and tactical campaign execution for American Airlines in Tokyo, Japan, as well as leading communications around several large mergers and acquisitions. She was also a member of the team that provided international communications, media relations and research assistance to the International Olympic Committee in 2008, both in Beijing and in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Lee speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in international affairs from Georgia Institute of Technology, and also attended the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
