Position Description:
CECP seeks a part-time intern to support key priorities for the Corporate Leadership team. During this time the Corporate Leadership team will lead outreach to secure corporate submissions to our flagship Giving in Numbers research, execute our annual CECP Summit, drive key corporate recruitment and renewal strategies, and support CECP’s Accelerate communities.

The Corporate Leadership Intern, reporting to the Associate Director, Corporate Leadership, will:

Support Giving in Numbers through outreach to companies, Salesforce tracking, and material preparation
Support the CECP Summit through speaker and session research, detailed logistics and speaker management, proofreading, review and organization of event materials and speaker PPTs, and day-of leadership on key event needs (must have full-time availability for May 21-23, 2018)
Conduct research and support tracking and outreach to prospective companies
Support and join CECP-led roundtables and meetings
Gather sponsor materials and assist with sponsor recognition activities
Other projects as assigned by the Corporate Leadership team


Candidate for an advanced degree in a relevant field such as communications, sustainability, corporate responsibility is preferred
Excellent communication skills and poise when dealing with senior executives at CECP companies
Strong interest in the field required; enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP’s mission
A high-degree of initiative, motivation, commitment to excellence, and attention to detail
A roll-up-your-sleeves, solutions-oriented attitude fitting a small, entrepreneurial nonprofit organization
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint strongly preferred

This internship is paid, and calls for ~25 hours per week. CECP will complete paperwork to help secure any available supplementary school funding.

6-month spring semester internship (January 2018 – June 2018)
