Claire Wasserman is the Founder of Ladies Get Paid, an organization dedicated to helping women advocate for their value in the workplace. Monthly programming includes town halls, workshops, webinars, and a private Slack group where women learn the skills they need to advance their careers. Since launching in June, the community has grown to over 1,500 members of all industries, countries, and stages of career. The ultimate mission is to see more diversity - and equal pay - in every industry.
Previously, Claire was the Director of Marketing at Working Not Working, a curated network of creatives, where she led programming such as Overshare, an event and podcast series where well known designers speak candidly about their professional challenges. Prior to that, she ran marketing and fundraising for the Art Directors Club, a non-profit that connects and awards those in visual communications. During her time there, she created ADC Talks, a global speaker series in partnership with Apple, where creatives give insight into how they built their careers.
She lives part-time in Portland, Maine where she helps her husband run Fork Food Lab, an incubator kitchen that helps food entrepreneurs expand their businesses.
