The Young Professionals Networking Event at Lucky Strike Lanes, on January 23, was my second NYWICI event. I had a great time and thought that the location of the event was perfect. It was hosted in a private room with plenty of seating, perfect for socializing! The event had a great turnout with current, and prospective, members. In addition to bowling, we networked and exchanged e-mail addresses, phone numbers and twitter handles over drinks and appetizers. Mini grilled cheese sandwiches, sliders, and dumplings to name a few!
I had a great time bowling with my friends and new acquaintances. It didn’t matter whether you were a great bowler or a novice; everyone seemed to have a blast!
Even though it was a rainy and cold night, the Young Professionals Networking Event was well worth the walk from Grand Central to Lucky Strike Lanes. I really enjoyed the time I spent at the event and felt that I got a lot out of the networking experience. I’m looking forward to attending future NYWICI events!
