New York Women in Communications is dedicated to developing the next generation of communications' professionals. 

We provide opportunities for students to network with leading professionals as well as with their peers. NYWICI events are tailored specifically to students and range from intimate behind-the-scenes tours of major media outlets to our annual Career Communications Conference, which took place this year on Nov. 19, 2011, and featured keynote speaker, Ann Shoket, Editor-in-Chief, Seventeen magazine.

The Student Affairs Committee, which produces the annual conference along with the student newsletter and blog, NYWICI next, is a mix of student and professional members.
