Geena Davis Appointed

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed 2006 NYWICI MATRIX Winner Geena Davis, a Democrat, to California's Commission on the Status of Women, a non-partisan state agency to promote equality and justice for all women and girls by advocating on their behalf with the Governor, the Legislature and other public policymakers. The position still requires Senate confirmation.
