Eligibility: You must be enrolled (full or part-time) at the graduate or undergraduate level in an accredited college or university.

$45 per year (June 1-May 31 fiscal year). $25 Application Fee will be waived for Student Members.

NYWICI Opportunities for Students

If you're in school and aspiring to a career in communications, there's no better way to get started than by joining NYWICI. We offer scholarships, career fairs, internships, and many networking opportunities for college and university students in the New York metropolitan area.

NYWICI Foundation Scholarship Program

The NYWICI Foundation, in conjunction with NYWICI, annually awards scholarships based on academic excellence, need and involvement in the field of communications. Each scholarship is valued up to $10,000. Awards are intended for use in the 2008-2009 academic year.

NYWICI Internship Program

NYWICI Student Affairs provides viable internship positions with some of the leading companies in the communications and related industries. Internships are an important part of educational and professional development and can greatly enhance the students' skills and knowledge as they gain an entry point into their field of choice. In turn, the participating companies benefit from having access to some of the best and brightest young minds coming up in the industry. Networking

We often invite students to attend programs at a discount, and we offer monthly Cocktails & Conversations networking evenings on the first Tuesday of every month for only $11. For current networking opportunities at NYWICI, see Calendar.
