In addition to frequent behind-the-scenes tours, panel discussions and career exploration events for students and young professionals, New York Women in Communications Foundation hosts several signature events each year:
Student Career Conference – Held in the fall of every year, this conference brings more than 40 seasoned professionals from all areas of communications together with students for a full day of career exploration, advice and networking.
Career Roundtables – Students and young professionals engage in intimate discussions with industry professionals across the range of communications careers. Held annually in late winter.
Ladies Who Laugh – A laugh-out-loud summer evening featuring the finest women in comedy, benefiting New York Women in Communications Foundation Scholarships.
Scholarships – New York Women in Communications Foundation scholarships award from $2,500 to $10,000 to qualified, deserving communications students at undergraduate and graduate college levels. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31.
