Communicating the right messages and image consistently and across all internal and external channels is a critical component to build and enhance the New York Women in Communications brand, build and support membership, and help establish its leadership as thought leaders and the “go to” source for information about women in communications and related issues.
This committee is responsible for PR/Marketing, Branding, website and newsletter.

This committee develops and implements strategies to identify and recruit new members and retain existing ones, creates new member benefit programs, drafts membership materials, and promotes alliances with other organizations with complementary goals. The committee also welcomes and orients new members into the organization and encourages volunteerism.

This committee develops and organizes programs that focus on fast-breaking trends and strategic issues affecting professional communicators, as well as programs that are relevant to careers in communications. The focus is improvement of specific skill fundamentals. Cocktails & Conversations, the first Tuesday of every month fall under this committee.
Committee members select program topics, secure speakers and venues, and coordinate general program arrangements.

Members of this committee seek new sponsors and ensure current sponsor’s satisfaction. The committee develops sponsorship and marketing programs for programming and student events. These enhance opportunities for companies and supporters to promote their services.

Helping the next generation of communications professionals chart a course toward success is the goal of this committee. A key event is the annual Student Career Conference featuring industry leaders sharing their wisdom. Young Professionals' Events throughout the year serve as resources for Student and Young Professional members. The committee also has a key role in administering the New York Women in Communications Foundation's generous scholarship program.
