NEW YORK WOMEN IN COMMUNICATIONS TO HOST PANEL DISCUSSION
"Disconnecting in a Hyper-Connected World"
Attendees will learn from five accomplished women on how they’ve managed work-life balance
while “making it to the top”
New York, NY (September 22, 2008) — On October 7, 2008, New York Women in Communications, the largest professional organization of women in communications, will present a panel discussion not to be missed by any woman who struggles to balance personal and professional responsibilities. The panel will include a range of high-achieving women who will discuss the conflicts many women face when trying to balance their work and family lives, given demands for time from children, aging parents, friends, bosses, clients, etc. Participants will share valuable lessons learned on how to prioritize time to fit in the activities and people that are most important to them, while managing professional obligations and climbing the corporate ladder.
The panel will include Jen Chung, Executive Editor, Gothamist; Lisa Mogensen, Chief Financial Officer, Forbes.com; Janine Sarna-Jones, Certified Professional Organizer, Organize Me, Inc.; Amy Introcaso-Davis, EVP Programming and Development, Oxygen; and moderator: Gail Blanke, President & CEO, Gail Blanke's Lifedesigns.
