CBS NEWS SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT WALTER CRONKITE AND ACTRESS AND CHOREOGRAPHER ROSIE PEREZ AMONG MATRIX AWARD PRESENTERS
New York, February 11, 2002–Walter Cronkite and Rosie Perez are among the eight presenters at this year's Matrix Awards, it was announced today by New York Women in Communications, Inc. (NYWICI). The awards recognize exceptional women who have distinguished themselves in the communications fields of advertising, arts & entertainment, books, broadcasting, magazines, new media, newspapers, and public relations.
The 2002 Matrix Awards luncheon, hosted by Biography Magazine, will take place at the Waldorf=Astoria on Monday, April 15. This year's honorees and presenters are as follows:
