ACTRESS MICHELLE PFEIFFER AND AUTHOR MICHAEL CRICHTON AMONG MATRIX AWARD PRESENTERS
Award-winning actress Michelle Pfeiffer and writer, producer, and best-selling author Michael Crichton were among the eight presenters at this year's Matrix Awards, presented by New York Women in Communications, Inc. (NYWICI). The awards recognize exceptional women who have distinguished themselves in the communications fields of advertising, books, broadcasting, magazines, new media, newspapers, public relations, and arts and entertainment.
The 2001 Matrix awards luncheon, hosted by Condé Nast Publications, took place at the Waldorf=Astoria on Monday, April 23. The luncheon was chaired by Gourmet's editor-in-chief and best-selling author, Ruth Reichl.
